"I started my yoga journey in 2010 as a way to compliment the other physical activities I was involved in, more or less, looking for the good stretch yoga was bound to offer. After my first yoga class, I realized that yoga was so much more than just a stretch. I further embarked on my yoga journey in January 2013 by taking part of a 200 hour yoga teacher training through Empowered yoga. The deeper I dove into yoga, the further I fell in love with it. I followed up that training by immediately partaking in a 25 hour Yoga Nidra teacher training, Learning to understand the body and the mind and the unification of the two through the breath. I have also taken the trainings for Rocket yoga, 80 hours in total of Yin yoga, meditation and yoga for athletes.
To me, yoga is all encompassing. It is the way you think, act and breath; with that, yoga is ever evolving. Every time I step on my mat is a new journey, a totally different experience."
“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.”
