Dayna's yoga journey began at Yogalife Studios Edmonton South while she was dealing with a knee injury and was looking for an alternative form of exercise. After spending years running long distances, she was looking for something that would challenge her physically and would allow greater flexibility. Yoga certainly checked off both of these boxes, but as she began to practice regularly, she started to realize that yoga was much more than that- it was positively affecting her life in so many ways. She found herself wanting to learn more and signed up for my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Higher Love Yoga Academy. What amazes and inspires her the most about this practice is that the journey is never finished and there is always a new way to challenge yourself.

With a background in healthcare, Dayna seeks to incorporate knowledge of anatomy and movement of the body into her classes. Since completing her 200 hour training she has also taken further training in yin yoga and yoga nidra.
