Core is a vigorous flow style class with emphasis on strengthening and defining the muscle groups of the torso. It includes a range of movements to challenge essential core muscle groups (front, back and sides) through stabilizing, repetition, holds and sometimes cultivating the burn. Core classes tone, strengthen, and stabilize the body from the inside out. Core is suitable for athletes, for those who wish to strengthen and deepen their existing yoga practice and for those up for a new challenge. It is not recommended for pregnant women or for those who have had recent abdominal surgery.
