For those that are brand new to yoga or want to brush up on basic skills to move through a flow or hatha class with more confident. This class will be more of a workshop style class to break down some basic poses for more comprehensive understanding. Each week we will go through a different topics and topics will be repeated monthly.
Yin Yoga is a slow paced class designed to specifically work the connective tissues of the body. This class consists of holding postures for several minutes to activate and work the fibers of your fascia matrix, ligamental structures and skeletal system. Yin yoga uniquely appeals to those who wish to increase their flexibility and range of motion as well as those interested in increasing bone density and strengthening joints. This class is suitable for athletes, those wishing to maintain or deepen their existing practice and those new to yoga. Hot Yin is offered at 38 degrees. Heated classes are not recommended for pregnant women or those sensitive to heat.

Happy Hips is a Hatha based practice with emphasis on opening and strengthening the hips. The hips are at the pelvic hub of our skeletal system affecting the way we walk, sit, move and sleep. Creating harmony in the hips often leads to harmony in the entire body/mind. Happier hips make for happier days and nights. This class will emphasize a variety of movement and is suitable for all levels of experience and for those interested in opening and strengthening the hips.

This is a dynamic class geared towards developing all levels of practitioner focusing on balancing, strengthening and opening the body through Hatha Yoga techniques. This class guides you through breathing techniques and meditation at the end to strengthen the lungs and centre the mind. This is an invigorating practice to flush and cleanse the body and heal body and mind.
A slow, integral alignment based flow class to warm and ease the muscles and joints to prepare the body for a juicy yoga nidra practice. Yoga nidra “yogic sleep” is a deep relaxation practice where the body is completely relaxed and the consciousness is systematically guided towards increase awareness of the inner world in order to relax and heal their being. This practice will leave you feeling balanced, relaxed and bliss out!
Cultivating the essence of internal balance yin/yang combines the cool, slower elements of yin with the faster, heated elements of yang. Yin poses are held for several minutes while yang poses challenge through faster movement and flow. Yin/Yang is the balance of opposites; it combines the paradox of doing and being. This class invigorates the body/mind with victorious breath and combines sun salutations (flow) with a variety of postures to strengthen, stretch and align the body/mind. Vinyasa is known for being dynamic and vigorous and may include inversions. In challenging the physical body, Vinyasa calms the busy mind. It is suitable for athletes and for those who wish to maintain and deepen their yoga practice. Classes are not heated.
This dynamic and balanced Rocket Vinyasa class will challenge you with constant movement, and deep pranayama, to help take your practice to the next level. Exploring arm balances, inversions, and intermediate poses all intertwined within a strong, fast flowing practice.
Restore and Renew is a class designed for conscious relaxation of the body/mind. Props are used to support the body, comfort is encouraged to relax the nervous system and through guided breath, imagery and meditative exercises, time slows down. When the body/mind relaxes we create the space for internal balance, restoration and health renewal. Restorative yoga helps relieve the effects of chronic stress and assists in decreasing ones biological markers for age. This class encourages you to be more and do less. It is recommended for anyone wishing to experience the health benefits of less stress.
Yoga can help address the most common concerns after having your little one. Bring your baby to this class and enjoy the benefits of yoga while connecting with your little munchkin. Suitable for all levels. Babies should be at the pre-crawling stage.
During this class, students will be taught the basics to meditate on their own and will have access to further information and resources to help them establish a regular practice on their own. During the hour, the teacher will guide students first into relaxation and then into a specific meditation allowing students time for their own meditation for the last portion of the class. Each class will be slightly different as the guided meditations can be quite diverse to include areas of focus such as: deep relaxation, chakra balancing, pain management, setting and working with intentions, healing, letting go and so many more. This is a great opportunity to release stress, find a deeper connection with yourself and truly see your life path.

Hatha Foundations is highly recommended for new practitioners and is suitable for all levels of experience.

Core is a vigorous flow style class with emphasis on strengthening and defining the muscle groups of the torso. It includes a range of movements to challenge essential core muscle groups (front, back and sides) through stabilizing, repetition, holds and sometimes cultivating the burn. Core classes tone, strengthen, and stabilize the body from the inside out. Core is suitable for athletes, for those who wish to strengthen and deepen their existing yoga practice and for those up for a new challenge. It is not recommended for pregnant women or for those who have had recent abdominal surgery.
