KELLY CALVEZ

Kelly has been practicing and studying yoga for more than 15 years. What started as a means to deal with stress and anxiety quickly evolved into a passion for teaching and sharing. Since 2016, Kelly has been teaching yoga regularly in a wide variety of movement and mindfulness modalities, with a growing focus on breath work, qigong, yin and restorative practices. His teachings have been supported through highly qualified teacher trainings as well as his curious and explorative approach in his own personal practices. He is a certified E-500 RYT, having received his 200 hour YTT certificate in 2016 and his 300 hour YTT in 2018 under the guidance of wonderful teachers including Lindsey Park, Sheena Mason and Heather Ivany.

Kelly brings a unique mix of compassion, intelligence and variety to his teachings, striving to help others find balance, awareness and peace in their lives.

In his personal life Kelly has a variety of interests beyond yoga and movement which include hiking with loved ones in nature, language learning, cooking, and playing the Didgeridoo. Recent memorable experiences for him include a week in Poland practicing breath work and cold exposure with the Iceman Wim Hof, as well as a month long Spanish language immersion, living with a local family and exploring beautiful Costa Rica.
