Fall Auction for Stray Cats

At Yogalife Studios, we believe in giving back to the community, and we’re excited to share our involvement in an important cause this fall. Edmonton is home to an estimated 70,000 stray and feral cats, many of whom need urgent care and attention. This year, we are proud to contribute to an auction organized by a Community Cats who are dedicated to supporting these vulnerable kitties.

Our donation to the auction is part of a collective effort to raise funds that will go directly towards providing necessary services, including spaying and neutering. In 2023 alone, Community Cats spayed and neutered more than 300 cats, making a significant impact on controlling the population and improving the well-being of Edmonton’s feline residents.

Currently, with over 90 cats and kittens in their care, and daily requests from the community for help, the demand for veterinary care and essential supplies continues to grow. That’s why fundraisers like this auction are crucial to sustaining the work they do year-round.

The auction will officially kick off on October 12, and donations will be accepted until October 6. However, items can be added throughout the auction, so there’s still time to get involved if you haven’t already. Whether you’re a local business or a compassionate individual, every contribution makes a difference!

We at Yogalife Studios are honored to be a part of this initiative. It’s a reminder that, together, we can create a positive impact on the lives of these deserving animals and help them find the care they need.
