Kim has practiced meditation for the last 10 years. This practice has been instrumental in her healing journey and has helped her find peace and purpose after losing her 22 year old son Tristin to overdose. She has found incredible transformation physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. She now teaches meditation as a way to help others mindfully find healing, peace, and joy.
Meditation is a practice that anyone can do, anywhere, to help bring calmness into the mind and body, to help reduce stress and anxiety, and to improve sleep. These are a few of the many benefits of this practice. During this workshop participants will learn the WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW of Meditation.
Kim will also talk about the various types of meditation and will teach participants simple breathing exercises and both simple and more detailed meditation practices that they can continue to do on their own. The workshop will end with a relaxation meditation which will leave participants feeling balanced, calm, and motivated to continue the practice.
